My work explores the interplay between process and image through layered compositions of paint, pencil, and collage, informed by my Surinamese and Dutch background. I investigate how traces of the past shape the present and open space for transformation. Guided by color, line, and form, my intuitive process creates works in which meaning remains fluid and evolving.
