Exhibition 3 Painters

At the Haagse Kunstkring, three PAINTERS are featured in July: Suzanne Bo, Tamara Traxel, and Paul Versteegh. All three are painters, using paint and canvas as their means of expression, each in their own unique way.
‘Tamara Traxel uses a mix of techniques, including acrylic, oil paint, and charcoal. Her works develop intuitively, with forms emerging that are partly sanded away again. In the resulting paint layers, new possibilities and connections appear. The painting is complete when all elements on the canvas have merged into an amalgam, with each part playing its role.’

The exhibition takes place as part of the Bovenvogel Room project, curated by Hans Ensink on Kemna.
Exhibition Woman in Art

Celebrating International Woman’s Day.
On the initiative of Anita Poolman, work by Mieke Schlaman, photographer and feminist, will be exhibited posthumously in the Albert Vogelzaal - especially her artistic nature photography - together with work by members of the Visual Arts department, namely: Carla Krutzen, Lizan van Dijk, Leidy van Leeuwen, Jacqueline Louter, Mariska Mallee, Ingrid Rollema, Tamara Traxel and Fenneke Weltevrede.
Tamara is showing an art installation entitled ‘Circular Time’. Different paintings and objects form this installation.

Kunstroute / Open Studios
23 en 24 september 2023
The 6th edition of the Open Studios Scheveningen will take place on the weekend of 23 and 24 September 2023. Members of artists’ association KopS, Kunst op Scheveningen, open the doors of their studios and show their work to the public at various locations in Scheveningen. The Art Route offers a unique opportunity to meet the artist in the atmosphere of his/her workplace. There will also be a retrospective exhibition of the participating members in Muzee Scheveningen from 13 to 24 September 2023.
